1.0  WHAT'S NEW IN RELEASE 4.0
Release 4.0
This release incorporates all the software onto one CD. The
software is updated to support the tuples of the latest hardware.
In addition, standard Microsoft driver files (serial.vxd) are now
used. 

Previous Versions:
Release 3.50
This release adds support for Windows CE units that use the
Hitachi SH4 processor. Additionally, the software has been put on
two disks; one for Windows 9x/NT and DOS drivers and one for
Windows CE.  

Release 3.30
This release adds support for the Windows H/PC computers running 
Windows CE Professional Edition (Jupiter). Additionally, the 
Windows CE installer has been upgraded to utilize the Windows 
CE Services 2.x Application Manager.

Release 3.00
This release is the first to include Windows CE drivers.

3.0  RELEASE NOTES

This README.TXT file applies to the Dual Serial I/O Installation
Disk v4.0.

3.1 To upgrade from a previous version of the Dual Serial I/O
software, please follow the instructions for your current version
of software as outlined in section 4.0 of this file.

3.2 Other known issues:
a) Socket does not recommend using a serial mouse on either port
of the Dual I/O Card.


4.0  UNINSTALL PROCEDURES

a) Make sure the Dual Serial I/O Card is removed from your H/PC.
b) Tap on START | Settings | Control Panel, then double tap on
'Remove Programs'.
c) Select Socket Communications Dual IO Drivers and tap on
'Remove'.
d) Reset your H/PC.


5.0  TROUBLESHOOTING

Troubleshooting Tips.
